Microsoft updates and Patch Tuesday

Some may not know what Patch Tuesday means but if you run Windows on your computer it is something that you should know about.  Patch Tuesday is the second Tuesday of each month and that is the day that Microsoft releases patches for Windows.  The patches usually include security updates and other updates to Windows.

Everyone should install these patches as soon as they are released.  The easiest way to do that is to enable "Automatic Updates" for your system.  If you don't want to automatically update, be sure to manually check for updates on the second Tuesday of each month.

This months updates included important patches for Internet Explorer so make sure your system is up to date and patched.
